Meh, it's cute, but the specs are just okay. I wish it had a 5600u or 5800u, but it's usuable. It's like a low end laptop with a 24" screen, and better I/O.

I'm having a little trouble finding exact specs, but from model numbers close to this it looks like an IPS "level" screen, but only 250 candle of brightness. Seems a bit dim, but I haven't seen it in person. It has a HDMI in. I can't tell how many so dimm slots it has. 1080p screen. Touch screen

How the hell was this ever $869 at Sam's for these specs? So, retail was $950+ then? Clearance price for this should be like $150.

Could build similar low spec for about $500 and choose parts.

Why did they put a medium spec laptop CPU in a Desktop?
The main reason I like desktops are their faster CPUs.
Hard pass.

I just checked last night and it was $869 as well. It sounds like after the clearance it's still a whatever deal. I had someone that was looking for a computer and this one just popped up. I don't have too many sams club around my area, so I'm not going to bother with it.

The thin and monolithic design of all-in-one desktops means poor cooling and throttling, so they like to use these lower powered laptop chips.

Still doesn't fully support 56K modems though.

It's an all in one machine. I hope you aren't judging the specs vs that of a traditional tower with traditional components and no integrated monitor...because that would be just silly (yet is exactly that is happening).
