FYI, I pre-drill a hole for everything now. I've cracked far too many boards because I drove a screw into them without a predrilled hole so I just always do it now.

Thanks but I already had a brushless impact driver so I was waiting for only drill driver. IMO, drill driver is a very common tool, so only itself does not have a deal frequently.

As I know for HP tools, it will decrease the power with a normal battery, just normal tools do not change anything with a hp battery.

DTO also has three impact driver for $48. So you can buy both for $96 and get 4 batteries total, two chargers, and two bags

Been looking for a deal on a regular drill, thanks OP. Been using my impact wrench for everything lol. It works, but has destroyed and stripped a few cheap screws.

When I cracked the lumber, and not even with the impact driver, but with the drill, without first making a smaller diameter hole, now that was a rude awakening.

OP, please make note this is the "COMPACT" version, not the full size. I don't see a comparable deal on the full size, but wanted to point out this NOT the same. From the specs I googled (could be wrong?) this one puts out about 400lbs of tq vs the full size nearly twice that at 750. Also runs a little slower at both high and low speeds.
Will either of these be necessary for you? I can't tell you that.
