Their pocket hole jig can only make correctly centered holes at the proper angle in one thickness of stock. Those holes are fine, but if you use any other size of wood, the holes have too much angle or will be close to one edge.

3/4". The holes won't be centered on the 1/2" or 1" and will have a bad pull angle on the 1-1/4" and 1-1/2". The Kregs are adjustable to have the correctly angled hole centered in all of those sizes.

-22 well what do u expect? Tools have environmental temperature limits, duh
A heat gun is sometimes used to melt things. I used to run wires in houses in below freezing temperatures, and they don't expect that you will be using it in that situation as frequently being indoor purpose, but it still did well. We were running propane heaters on them because we had no windows or insulation, only plastic sheets over everything, which allowed the 30 MPH wind to blow most of the heat away.

If I'm trying to thaw out my vehicle, I expect it to do that job without worrying if I'm going to be electrocuted. Drills and things I can see most people not doing that, but battery power is difficult in sub zero temperatures.

Not everyone has a heated garage.

Nothing really new here. Those are usual price slashes they're doing everyday. I wish they will bring back those 20% single item coupons. Those are the real deal in HF.

For many yrs. all Mopars used the larger pos. cables on the neg. batt. post. Of course this was : lazy, stupid, cheap, irresponsible, or all four because acid would creep up the extra space and corrode the connection. Easy enuf to fix by removing some of the lead at the bolt holding the connector closed if you ever knew.

That yellow ad reminds me of those furniture liquidators stores. Seems like just a matter of time when HF gonna hire those spinning sign folks to advertise at the busy street corners.

There are steps to correct for that in the instructions. There is another adjustment you need to make on the other widths. People miss it all the time and its been addressed in Youtube videos. Also, Home Depot sells the same one under another brand name online only.

There are two tiny screw holes that many people miss when trying to use this jig. You are supposed to screw in some tiny pins in those holes to lift the board up enough to account for the issue you are mentioning.

Any idea if next week it will be another 10% off? I seem to remember last year buying a bunch of clearance items, then being slightly miffed because a week later they lowered the prices even more...

their whole business model is spamming you 3 tines a day with cheap tool discounts emails... doesn't take long before you get desensitized and realize those are the prices you're always going to pay at HF.

So is this:
https://www.harborfreight.com/12-...34706.html

40% off? If so, that takes it down to pre-covid/inflation pricing.

Listed as clearance and currently in-stock. Flyer says ALL clearance?

$2 for 50 feet of paracord is a good deal. Can never have too much cordage!
paracord is no joke. I used it to pull taut a 16x24ft shade sail and it was fine in the elements for a year or 2 before the outside finally started falling apart. Even holding up wet leaves the anchors started to shift instead of the cords failing. I eventually changed to cheap ratchet straps so I could adjust the tension if needed.

Most of their stuff makes Walmart seem high end, but every now and then I find something that doesn't completely suck.

I hate to see Harbor Freight having these liquidation sales. It was a great place to buy inexpensive tools.
What are you even talking about? They have "liquidation" sales multiple times a year. They aren't going out of business they are just clearancing some items
