Thanks. Didn't get an e-mail but the offer was in my account.
Friendly reminder to never redeem your points as a statement credit for Citi double cash, just get the cash back deposited to your bank account. That way you can fully realize that 1% cash back on card payments.

Yes... but... You're limited to $500 per statement cycle at 5% on the Custom Cash, which means you'll have to buy $500 at a time, and the last $500 is going to be tough, you might have to accept the fact that you're only going to get 6% on the last $500. Which winds up being 8.66%. Still better than the 7% I get off my DoubleCash -- but at least I can do it in a single shot.
I am trying to find out where does it say limit is 500 per statement. would be great if we can use all 1500 in a month as only 1 month is left.
So, it is statement credit as I said before.
Same for me, as I explained earlier. You are welcome.
So no else is allowed to post once you posted ???
Ego much?
I have this offer on my Custom Cash card this time around. The previous time was on my Double Cash card. And that time Citi messed up!
They did not give me statement credit at all.
Just because you got it, doesn't mean I did. And I didn't. I had to fight with Citi to give me the 5% which they did eventually. So don't write about what you don't know because you don't know what Citi did on my Double Cash card in fall 2022.
This time around, the question was whether the Paypal stacked with the Top-Spend category after with Citi's stupidity last year.
And I was able to confirm it stacked.
The Top-Spend 5% was with Thank You Points + Paypal 5% = 10%.

I told you earlier that I will come back to confirm my earlier statements. So, I did.
Your personal experience with Citi is exception to the rule. I am glad they have fixed it for you and you are receiving Merchant offers statement credits on top of regular cash back like everybody else. You are welcome. Bye.

You already posted screenshots of your statement credits.
As I recall, I posted mine.
So I am not sure why you are re-hashing old history.

My latest post is to confirm stacking of the Paypal 5% with the Top-Spend Category 5% on the Custom Cash. for those who have this offer on their Custom Cash.

Isn't it the same thing? If I'm going to just pay the credit card off with my bank account, depositing the cash to my account is just an extra step unless I'm missing something?
Edit: nevermind, I get it now. By depositing to the bank and then paying you get the 1% payment return again. Great tip!
I added this offer to one of my cards earlier and for 2 weeks now I can no longer see the offer added. Is that the case with others as well or should I be concerned about it not being there anymore?
For those thinking the statement credit reduces your 1% back for payments (on the Double Cash), it doesn't. The amount is still tracked under your Purchase Tracker. What you need to do is make a payment greater than your current balance (max 7.5% greater) and wait for it to post. Then, contact customer service and ask for a refund on the negative balance. I've done this all the time and get my full 2%.
previously added but cannot find it anymore,
any method to confirm it?
In the future, if you call citi customer service, they will confirm that the offer is added to your account. But yes, whenever you get these quarterly offers, they are not visible anywhere in the app or website.

GIft card purchases in CVS Pharmacy received both 5% Paypal (statement credit) and 5% top-category spend (Thank You points).
Time to buy a $500 VISA gift cards at CVS in the next two statement cycles before the offer ends.
