I didn't bite on this deal. I don't have any doubt the image quality is great but it's the first iteration of new tech. Absolutely no demonstrable longevity and a warranty system that is abysmal. Not worth my time if something goes wrong.

I'm no expert, but my old LG E8 has a better picture than the Samsung. Maybe it had more options to tweak. I hate Soap Opera effect, but I know some people LOVE IT. So, I guess it depends what you are looking for. I mean, some of the stuff looked great, but I couldn't justify it for the price.

I really wish an OLED had side legs also....trying to put a TV over my SONOS playbase rather than on it would be nice. Not sure if I go MINILED or something instead.

The only reason I'm upgrading, I wanted bigger and my E8 has burn-in (slightly, but annoying)

Paid a whole lot more for mine from Costco and probably haven't logged a full hour on it…but also got all state warranty plus now-defunct citi warranty plus plus 4% plus delivered somehow without damage. Doubt my employer even qualifies here. Get tired of seeing all these Samsung special buyer deals, they are more like a "YMMV" for many
It was useful to me!

I have this Samsung OLED - so far so good. No issues with the screen, warping, etc. I upgraded from an LG C1. I still have my C9 in the bedroom. The LG is great, the Samsung is great. Getting this for 1300 is a steal. I paid 1800 for the C1.

At first, you notice the pop in saturation of colors, and to be honest, it looks great even though it won't be as accurate. I ultimately used my S22 to calibrate and now the colors have a more natural look like the C1. Def prefer the LG interface, but I used an Apple TV which now supports HDR10+ so got that covered. There is an adjustment time from the transition from LG to this, so give yourself time. It is brighter and the colors are gorgeous.

I ended up selling my C1, which is perfect btw. To get QD OLED for this price is insane. I have 2 s95b 65" and they are working perfectly.

my delivery date has now changed to April. It was March before that, and I believe something earlier before that.

I got no where calling. Was done through chat. At first they tried to tell me that this wasn't possible, but you are able to attach images in the chat. I showed them an image of a cart built with the free warranty. That got them to give it to me.

Mine is also set to deliver in April.

I am actually happy about that as I still need to convince my wife that our secondary TV room needs an upgrade from a 32" Vizio > this 65" OLED… and I have time to cancel if I don't succeed. LOL

I was able to, hopefully you have a couple hours to spare dealing with idiots....such a pain.

So how bad is it if I lay the box flat in my car to transport it home around 5 miles.

Picked up the phone and called Samsung. They made me cancel my current order, so I can place a another one at full price and then they issued a credit. They said they will add 2 years of Samsung Care+ in a couple days because they weren't able to apply it for some reason. Hopefully it goes as they promised, huge hassle and took a bunch of time.

When are they going to ship it?

I switched the order for Best Buy pickup at a location that had it in stock. Didn't get a chance to grab it today but will go tomorrow.
