The 5-star reviews were all part of a free promotion. Actual unpaid reviews are really poor. Users complained about poor quality and lids not fitting the pans.

can I please know what type of material should I be looking for to find induction fry pans? thank u
Being aluminum does not exclude pans from working with induction. I have an aluminum pan that works w induction because it has a steel disk in it. Basically just look for pans that advertise induction. If they support it, they will advertise it.

Watch these two videos and decide whether to buy it as advertised.

1. Does It Really Work: Granitestone Diamond Pan

Maybe Save your $20 and time

2. A moderate test: maybe it is worth as long as you do it correctly.

They have to be iron or have an iron plate in the bottom. The aluminum ones will have an iron plate/circle usually with a bunch of holes on the bottom of the pan clearly visible. It will say induction ready in the description if it is.

This 10 Pieces set, Hammered Aluminum Diamond Infused Nonstick 10-Pc. Cookware Set [macys.com], is much more eye pleasing at $62.93. Bought one to refresh my kitchen.

Keep in mind that this "granite" coating is just marketing BS. This is just another set of poor quality cookware that will last maybe a year or two before needing to be replaced. Just spend more on a higher quality set that will last far longer instead of having to buy set after set…

I bought this in a 20 piece set for $99 during some Amazon sale in September. They are terrible. Maybe OK for a college student going off to the dorm/1st apt. Extremely light and flimsy. The "granite" spray coating starts flaking off almost immediately. 5 months in and I'm in the market for a new set of pots and pans. Find something different.

I decided not to buy these after reading this review:

"Waste of money Yes, it can cook an egg with a little butter and it doesn't stick, but so can a lot of cheaper pans. The pans are so thin you dare not ever cook on anything higher than low heat. To keep the bottoms from burning, they had to raise the center away from the heat source and put concentric circles of aluminum ridges near the edges to spread the heat there. The handles are incredibly thin, not at all ergonomic."

Pans with raised centers are not to my liking but for the price they would work for others who do not care.
