This should be worse in real world performance to the SN770 for most users with gen4 slots.

Killer ssd if you have an external enclosure and purely use it as a portable storage device. (Compared to the speeds you get with the sandisk extreme ssd)

Rebranded SN570?

Edit: 1st gen PCIe 3.0 drive with DRAM. This is a pretty steep premium over $58 MP34, but if you want to go with WD, this seems fine. The Newmaxx SSD spreadsheet has two versions of this drive, both seem okay,.but the new version is capped at 2000MBs.
