Even for gen 3 it doesn't seem like good value
Edit: 1st gen PCIe 3.0 drive with DRAM. This is a pretty steep premium over $58 MP34, but if you want to go with WD, this seems fine. The Newmaxx SSD spreadsheet has two versions of this drive, both seem okay,.but the new version is capped at 2000MBs.
