The things I liked:
- it does highlight some interesting sleep pattern. It catches disturbances (as I do) but can give you an insight on when best to wake up depending where you are in your sleep cycle.
- the clock/arlam is useful, its not only a paper press.
- the Alexa/routine integration can be handy ("when I go to sleep") if you are in the Amazon/Alexa ecosystem
- the halo app is handy and provide bunch of things in term of sleep cycle, workouts, recipes etc.
- you can use the light as a smart light
- orientation matters but i tried various settings and it was not too sensitive to changes.
The could be better:
- I have the brightness set to 1%. The light is on the front so when you open your eyes in the morning, it looks like a projector in your face. i wish the light was on the top/bottom/sides/back. Not the front...
- there is no way right now to use the alarm with light only. you must have sound as well for alarm. might change in the future.
- if you watch tv from 8pm to 10pm in your bed before sleeping, the app will likely detect that time as disturbance, thus decreasing your sleep score. i have not found a way to adjust that.
