$2000 for a mediocre UST? This has 2000 lumens (weakest), and Image can only be upto 100 inch. For that price (+500), you have better options like Xgimi, Hisense with AlR screen

Totally agree. Speaking of that, currently LG HU715QW is selling for $1997 at Amazon.
Here is link:
LG CineBeam UHD 4K Projector HU715QW - DLP Ultra Short Throw Laser Smart Home Theater Projector, White https://a.co/d/dMRU7Bm
4k UHD with 2500 ANSI lumens.
Combination of Laser and LED light source with LG's the latest tech Adaptive contrast gives one of the best picture quality I've seen in this price range
Also in my petsonal opinion, LG's WebOS 6.0 operating system is better than Android TV 10.0
You get pretty much any popular apps without connecting your streaming device.
Sound might be better on Viewsonic with speakers tuned by Harman Kardon.
But if you are spending 2K on a projector, chances are pretty high that you already own a good Home theater sound system.
also Optoma cinemaX D2 was recently sold for $1999

especially with low latency, it will be a good choice for Gamers.
I'd assumed the best of that bunch is the LG. However lots of reviews saying theirs was DOA out of the box which is why I've been avoiding it. The D2 looks great for the price, minus the bad UI but easily solved with Apple TV/Shield/Roku. I ended up ordering the D2, you can still get it at the $1999 price . Threw on a 3 year Allstate warranty for $60 through Walmart.
