I've had an aluminum Series 3 for 4+ years. No case, no protector, hundreds of miles of activity, swimming, etc.

Zero scratches on the aluminum body. One on the glass.

I bought this deal and immediately swapped the cheap, Amazon black band from my series 3 over to it. I'll keep the green as a backup in the future.

I picked up an "eBay Refurbished" stainless Series 6 (44mm) cellular about a year ago for $319 and so glad I did. While I did not use a screen protector, I thought I was very careful with my Series 4 screen and still ended up with multiple scratches.

Not sure why people don't like the green model, I purchased mine from the last Costco mark down and I like it more than I thought I would. Even if you don't like green, it's so dark that it's only noticeable in bright condition and even then it looks good.

Anyone know the know the cost of the cellular add-on? Thought many years ago it was like addition $10 on most plans but haven't looked in years.

I refused to put a screen protector on my series 7 aluminum. I embraced the scratches and you can't see them unless under extreme sunlight at a specific angle. I had a stainless steel with sapphire and that thing never scratched in the 8 years I owned it. A swift crack on the floor by my toddler is what did that in.
