Yeah, but at that point maybe 1/2" is better, I'm no tool pro by any means.

That being said, 3/8 is the last bit I haven't converted over to yet regarding brand, and this is so tempting I may just bite instead of going for their chrome set.

For the m12 3/8 vs 1/2 the 3/8 actually delivered more torque since the anvil is bigger in the testing I watched on YouTube. I need a 3/8 set because my 1/2 converted to 3/8 is losing a little oomph.

On the tools reddit, seems to be a bit of hate and disappointment in Milwaukee hand tools quality, them using their goodwill from their great power tools to sell cheaply made hand tools. I would research the non-power tool items you are interested in before buying

I got the 3/8 chrome set and now will add this impact set. It has its uses for sure.

Ya my hammer drill 12v trigger broke. Just fell off after drilling some thin steel. Guess it cant even handle light duty. Apparently a common problem.

I can't imagine doing any impact work with a 1/4" impact wrench and dedicated impact sockets that a 1/4" hex impact driver and a 3/8" adapter couldn't handle.

Honestly, if it's a small fastener for an engine etc…, you probably shouldn't be using an impact anyway. Way too much risk (even on removal if you've got rust involved) that you'll snap the fastener and be fighting a whole new problem.

Yeah, i work at Milwaukee tool in Wisconsin .
The tools are made from Chinese suppliers. They just rebrand their name on the junk.

While an adapter on an impact driver can usually get the job done, it's a bulky and clunky solution. Caution is always a good idea when confronted with a corroded or seized fastener, but in most normal situations, using an impact (if it fits) to remove fasteners is just a speedy way to go.

A friend of mine is a small engine mechanic and always wields an impact, sometimes one in each hand...

Lifetime warranty just means a lifetime of replacement at this price-point. I'd be more concerned about the socket deforming under stress, rounding the bolt/nut.

Silly question... In the product screenshots they say "For use with" and then a picture of M12 impact guns... I mean, there is no dependency on using non Milwaukee tools with these sockets right? Just marketing ploy?
