This one stays at incline when you turn it off. Happened to my wife.

Purchased 3 Jan and Schwinn/Nautilus price matched 1 Feb. Fantastic customer service that has earned my loyalty.

Set up and use:
Took two people to move into position, but completed set up myself. Instructions were relatively straightforward, but pay attention to the callouts for attaching the connectors. I'm 5'10" and 190 lbs. I put 15 miles of running on the treadmill, and find it to be quiet and smooth. The belt is plenty wide and the foot strikes are cushioned well. I'm 59 yo, and one of my reasons for purchasing was to get off of concrete and asphalt. My knees are feeling great. The lack of a media screen is a huge positive! My Ipad sits perfectly on the console and the bluetooth connects reliably. The free Nautilus Exploretheworld app syncs with the treadmill speed and distance. Even better, I've mounted a 55" inch TV at eye level and completely forget that I am exercising! This is an amazing price for an outstanding treadmill. Buy it and get moving!

Can anyone comment on the size of this when the deck is folded up? Or how this unit is size-wise versus others in a similar price bracket?

I've been seriously looking into a treadmill (between winter and having a kiddo, my only free time to exercise is when it's not really a good idea to go running outside) - but the only room I have to put it in also hosts my rower and may soon be converted into my full-time WFH office, so space is at a premium.

Like others have pointed out, there's a big difference between HP and CHP.
the part for the motor I referenced (and my comment) is in CHP, not HP.

3.0 CHP is stated on the part itself.

I removed the motor cover and the motor in my T618 (purchased a few weeks ago) says "3HP".
I took a picture of it but I'm not sure how to upload it via mobile app.

Thank you! - is it pretty easy to fold up and down? Is it pretty secure when folded up? Have a 1 year old running around, and is rarely in this room and never there unattended, but much better safe than sorry.

this has a hydraulic assist that helps you fold up easily. you fold up until you hear a click. then its locked in. folding down this lands slowly like some toilet seats, so there is no hard landing. but again it wont stop the kid getting injured if it's unfolding. there is a blue button under the base to activate the unfold and fold. if you want to be super cautious, around the base recommend putting a long belt or something that can block the unfolding by a kid. or some kind of fallback you can think of.

Was finally able to find this shown in a YouTube short of all things. Looks about as solid as I could expect, and I think I could rig up a backup of some sort. Cheers!

EDIT: For anyone curious, here's a short video of it lowering (not mine, just the one I found) - https://www.youtube.com/shorts/JYS--sWVUlA

Right but that's incorrect. You posted a motor part from a website showing 3.0 CHP, whereas others that opened their treadmill found it is a 3.0 HP motor. Big difference between HP and CHP.

Someone in this thread also confirmed that 3.0HP is the max load, and that common load was around 1.9HP. This makes it a much weaker motor than what they advertised previously.

When I spoke to the rep yesterday she told me that Nautilus has changed manufacturers three times for this model and the motor specs have not been consistent so they removed them completely.

That's good info. I think you're contradicting yourself though here when you're saying I'm incorrect: the people reporting their motors as 3 HP might be a different manufacturer from what's going out of Nautilus factories right now, as you mentioned they changed manufacturers. It's murky what folks here will get, but it's not incorrect to say that we might get a 3.0 CHP motor.
