But CFG Bank has limits according to their website:
Once funding occurs the daily external transfer limit for the CFG High Yield Money Market Account is $5,000. Your external transfers may not exceed $30,000 in a 30-day rolling period.

I'm getting tired of moving my money around chasing the APY. They should be coming up again after tomorrow's FED meeting too.

Nope, usually paid out within a few business days.

FDIC official website has a section for concernicus folks like you specifically:

Which one?
I use Enzo at joinenzo.com. Your money will sit with Blue Ridge Bank. FYI: They are not like a traditional bank with phone support and all that. Their support comes via email, which I have had great experience with, but it's not for everyone.

I found them to be hassle free, and the beauty is I'm grandfathered into their cashback payment of mortgage/rent. Get an extra $20 every month until June.

Absolutely. Once you set up the initial account with your name and it is opened, you can go back in online and set up either joint or beneficiaries. You have to initially set it up individually first though.

Anyone get this to work with mint? I think they have two systems, one for "online only" and one for branch locations.

The only thing that sux about Sofi is that you cannot do future transfers like ALLY. I have both.

Nope. Wealthfront is great. Just make sure to get the extra 0.5% referral bonus and stack it up for a year.
is the referral bonus for both parties or only to the referring party?

found this from a blog site:

"I opened an account last night with $60,000 which they confirmed to me. This morning I see that they must have cancelled the transaction as there is no money in my account. I also cannot contact them as they said I am number 12 and they would call back. They never did. When I called back the phone went directly to VM.
Can a bank do this?
"

YIKES! That is scary! Having second thoughts.. I HATE when banks are shady..

#1 that is not possible because it takes 1 to 2 full business days for them to review and open your account and then the time it takes to fund it from your transfer bank. There is no way an account was opened by morning or any of that happening.

#2 Their phone system has no line numbers like that. They tell you the wait time to speak to a rep or they offer to hold your place in line and call you back if you input your phone number. Its obvious this person is trolling.

Not at all lol. Been here since 2005. Just trying to help others and flush out the nonsense. I simply state the facts. I take my posts seriously and simply want others to be able to enjoy this slick rate. Its a deal community after all, apprentice.

Why pick the savings over checking if they're the same rates and no fees?

Any disadvantages to going with their Premium Checking account with the same interest rate?
