  • 4K ULED: Like great, but better. The 50U6HF has our exclusive ULED technologies. They boost color, contrast, brightness, motion… we could go on. It's the TV your old TV wants to be.
  • Quantum Dot Wide Color Gamut: Quantum Dot produces purer, richer, more brilliant and accurate colors than a regular LED TV. Creating over a billion color combinations brings vibrant images to life in a way non-QLED TVs can't.
  • Fire TV Built-in: With Fire TV built-in, you can enjoy a world of entertainment from apps like Prime Video, Netflix, Disney plus, Hulu, and HBO Max. Plus, stream for free with Freevee, Pluto TV, Tubi, and more. Subscription may be required.
  • Peak Brightness / Full Array Local Dimming Zones: This television offers up-to-600 nits peak brightness across up to 32 local dimming zones. Above average peak brightness and local dimming are critical to correctly reproducing HDR content.
  • Dolby Vision HDR, HDR10, and HDR10+: Transform your TV into an entertainment powerhouse. The image technology from cinemas, now brought directly to your home, provide amazing realism that you'll experience like never before.
  • Motion Rate 240, 60Hz Native Refresh Rate and HDMI 2.1: The TV's HDMI 2.1(eARC) port is the foundation for its 240 motion rate and native 60Hz refresh rate. These technologies work in concert to make fast-action scenes to ensure moving objects have minimal blurring.
  • Press & Ask Alexa: Use the included Alexa Voice Remote to manage TV power, volume, navigation, playback, and input switching. Or just press the microphone button and say, "Find dramas," and Alexa will show you search results from a central catalog of hundreds of integrated apps and channels.
  • Bluetooth Connectivity: Wirelessly connect soundbars, headphones or stereo components to your TV. This quick and convenient connection eliminates unwanted and unsightly cords while providing a secure connection to your audio source.
  • Metal Stand, Bezel-less Design: A bezel-less design gives this television a sleek aesthetic that won't overpower the room with an unnecessarily large frame. The metal stand provides sturdy support for this feature-packed television.

Agreed - got the 50U6G last summer, after reading many reviews online, and was very happy with the quality despite the low price. We watch in a fairly well-lit room and it looks great. Finally switching out my TV/Cable box with a 4K unit soon and looking forward to some 4K content for the bowl which is super.
Well played there.

Hey dude, are you aware that the game of football is extremely dangerous to its players, and that the NFL uses taxypayer money and graft to build stadiums? It is really quite unethical to support the NFL in any way, shape or form. If this is acceptable, we may as well have gladiatorial deathmatches. CTE is found in 87% of players' brains.

Had to downvote, as I can't replicate. Not sure if dead or targeted. My Amazon Chase card is my primary payment method on Amazon.

Anyone use this for a computer monitor?
I use this daily as 3rd monitor for software development. Works much better than I expected for that, but I use it primarily to keep email and slack open. Response time/input lag is pretty minimal for non gaming use. Saw some chatter about issues with this having a BGR subpixel array, but I've tried on a MacBook pro and a win10 desktop with a 3080, and neither machine has any issues outputting things correctly. I have not gamed on it. It's 60hz so it's not great for shooters, but it allegedly supports VRR so that's a plus for other genres and consoles that support VRR.

Did you calibrate it? I can say that out of the box it is terrible
My experience was opposite. Mine out of the box was pretty solid. Few minor tweaks got it dialed in great. Which is a relief because frankly the amount of settings you can change is fairly limited on this thing.

What settings are you using?
Honestly didn't change much. Think I just put on the HDR mode instead of the movie picture mode. I googled and just couldn't find anything

Here is my previous comment from yesterday regarding this deal.

After reading the terms and conditions, I see this:

I looked at the Amazon Prime card, beware of the terms, this is one review of the card...

"Predatory interest policy - and I am a loan underwriter!
Reviewed in the United States on March 19, 2018
Style: Amazon Rewards Visa Signature Card
This card has sneaky interest rate policies that you should be aware of prior to getting the card. I am a loan underwriter and credit analyst, so this experience was particularly irritating because I know exactly how credit cards work! I received my first statement and paid all but $25 (by accident, meant to pay in full) on time. So my carryover balance was $25, which I would expect to be charged interest for. However, on the next statement I see I have been charged interest for the full balance PLUS my new purchases, of which I was still within the grace period at that point. This happened again the following month. So I called Chase and was told that for this particular card, if you don't pay the balance in full they charge interest on the TOTAL balance - not the carry-over balance like most other credit cards, which in my case was $25 - PLUS they will forego the grace period on your current purchases! I told them I won't be using this card anymore, and that this is predatory. Beware, if you can't pay the balance in full by the due date each month, the interest you will be charged is not worth the rewards; you will wind up spending more on interest than you will receive back. My FICO is in the 800s and they are charging over 15% APR - with no grace period because of that $25 carryover the first month - so I imagine the average interest rate on this card is well over 20%. There are much better reward cards out there that don't practice usury."

Great TV and good price. I got this for $300 over the holidays. Doesn't have top of the line features for gaming of course (still decent though), but for everything else you won't find a better TV at this price point. If you're hesitating because of that crazy $160 deal a few months back and feel bad getting it for $280 because "it could be cheaper", don't. Well worth it at this price.

I don't get when people say stuff like this. You could redeem this for real money so the tv is costing you real dollars, you realize that right?
