Word is Netflix reportedly wanted "mature" Avatar: The Last Airbender series with "romance, sex, and blood" prompting creators exit. A "Game of Thrones" avatar if you will. With their budget it's hard to not imagine what that would've looked like.

They do look great, its funny how everyone is a more realistic depiction with their faces and then there's aang with his big goofy smile.

These aren't new figures -- they've been out for over a year.

I picked up Aang, Sokka, Kitara, Toph, Iroh, Zuko, and Appa from Wal-Mart on clearance last fall. If you're lucky, your Wal-mart might have one or two hanging around. I weirdly picked up the lizard thing from Wal-mart last week.

Azula is available too, but I had to go to eBay for her.

Thanks OP! I never saw the Aang/Zuko two pack in the wild, and the larger figures are nice too. Shipping is high, but it beats the alternative.​
