Motion rate is not refresh rate. 120 motion rate is 60 hz refresh rate.

is that the only difference? Google vs Roku? I saw it at Costco yesterday and the model number is 65a65H but I didn't know the difference.

But I keep reading that the Google TV versions are so much slower than the Roku interface on just about any version of TV.

I would rather get Roku than Google TV. Reason is that Roku is rock solid, and the UI is super intuitive. E.g. It takes 2-3 clicks to pair BT headphones with Roku, more like a dozen on Google TV. Also, my TCL Google TV needed 3 plug-pulls because it totally locked up, no such thing with Roku. Another thing is updates... Roku gets frequent updates, good luck with Google TV...

4k tv, but does it actually have an ATSC 3.0 TV tuner capable of receiving 4k broadcasts? Or merely 2K broadcasts?..

Google TV/Android TV is an excellent OS that was originally designed for phones and later implemented as a TV OS. It requires a fairly decent processor something most TVs lack (even top-tier) Anyone that does not like Android/Google TV needs to experience it using Nvidia Shield.

Love the size, the picture, and the fact you can download almost any app if it's not already on it. Good price

I've had to do plug pulls on my TCL roku before. Wasn't the OS, was Netflix every time. App lockups which are entirely the fault of app developers lead to plug pulls.

Any TV owners know how this one performs in a bright room with a lot of windows?
