Deals like these are why I went with Ridgid. Maybe they're not always best (although this tool is their crown jewel and has a legitimate claim to one of the best high torque) but they're always damn good tools and if you're patient enough you can get everything you want at bottom tier tool prices. Definitely cementing itself as the best bang for your buck brand.

A lot of people don't want/can't justify paying for top tier but also don't want cheap garbage. Ridgid is the brand for folks like that. I used to be a fan of Kobalt, but their deals are so sporadic and vary based on location that it can be frustrating. Hercules new brushless line up intrigues me, but until they've proven themselves Ridgid is king in this market. The LSA is just the icing on the cake.

Wow, 5 years, good for them. That warranty is apparently new and only applies to certain tools, others are just 90 days.

There's really few problems with LSA, as long as people follow through on the registration. And when the batteries wear out, all batteries eventually do, a simple phone call gets new ones sent on their way.

Factory Blems from DTO can be registered for the LSA. There's even a DTO selection on the registration form for where it was purchased. And even though it says to mail in the receipt, I've always just uploaded it and if the registration hasn't processed in a few weeks, just send them a note asking them to review it and it goes right through.

I don't see how you can get two 6ah for free. Just another tool and only the 4ah battery.
My bad I see what you meant. There was a 2 pack of 6AH as a free tool option but it looks like they removed it. I ordered last night/mine has shipped and it was posted on Slickdeals. But looks like HD changed it. Sorry

How were you able to get it off with the mid torque? I had the ridgid mid torque with the fat socket, couldn't get it off, the high torque took it off in about 2 seconds
I used the fat socket.

If you don't already have the special socket for that, get one. It's a game changer and a lot cheaper than a high torque impact.
I already have one and it was crazy how easier it made it vs useing a normal 19mm socket.

You normally always get the confirmation.

No word on shipping yet though.

Anybody have this ship yet? I cancelled an order from the free shipping promo because I bought this and they won't do a partial cancellation. Re-ordered when this was posted with the Ryobi planer and it's still processing.

I have 2 multi item orders from the free shipping weekend yet to go out, I ordered this impact with some batteries and this is yet to go out too.

Solo items from the free shipping weekend shipped that week. They must be out of cardboard boxes or something.

Hm tough choice. I already invested in Milwaukee M12 fuel set and Makita 18v LXT set. Should I get this or wait for sale on a Makita impact wrench (that will likely never happen)?
The only Milwaukee comparable to this one is the 2767 which is 18V. Get this one, it is better than the Makita. Watch the torque test channel on youtube to get more info.
