Because that's not the same thing. Ultrasharp vs what you posted.
Another nit about this display that might be important to some folks who want to use it as a "one USB-C / Thunderbolt cable to rule them all" setup - the ethernet port is rated at 1GB, but because it shares bandwidth on the single point-of-attachment cable, will run as low as ~ 1/3 of that rated speed. Again, not a biggie for most, but may matter for some.

And as noted above, no speakers.

If you don't need ethernet in the display, and want speakers, rtings.com (great display review site) also recommends the Dell S2722QC, a USB-C 4K monitor currently $300 at Amazon:

AFAIK, Dell doesn't give the "actual price" of the refurbished models, they list the MSRP, and the outlet discount ($295.60 in this case) off of the MSRP goes up and down, though sometimes they have coupons for an extra percentage off of the outlet price

This is a good price for this monitor, even for a used one. The only deal breaker is a 90-day warranty. From my experience with dell monitors, most of them are durable.

I have this Dell Ultrasharp as my everyday work monitor, and it is a good monitor. I still like my iMac 27" monitor better, though. Still, this is a very good monitor with essentially a Dell docking station built in.

Dell outlet is not worth it. They have abismal support and refund takes weeks even after you call. I would prefer to go the amazon warehouse route if needed granted its less supply there. Anyways, wait and find a better deal elsewhere.

I got this monitor new a couple months ago directly from dell. I price matched and used an Amex deal for $40 off. I believe they have a lot of refurbished units not because something breaks in these monitors, but because the display is very reflective. Yes, it says matte but believe me, I was considering returning it. Okay if you use Excel all day long, but if you code in Visual Studio, pain in the butt. I have to turn off all lights behind me. Please google some pictures or check ebay for used units to see how reflective the coating on this thing is. However, it the price drops even more, I would consider buying a second one, just to have 2, since I'm stuck with one already.

Never bought a monitor with essentially a built in dock. If I bought two of these, can you daisy chain one to the other for dual displays?

Yes, but this feature is only available on PC. It you have a Mac, only daisy chaining with Thunderbolt is supported.
