"Great fit, but annoying "click" on every stride.
Great fit and trail shoe. But walking or easy running the sole would "click" as my foot rolled forward on every step. Not as noticeable on the trail. Annoying - returned them after ~ 20 miles of use and the click remained. On-line research indicates this is a *very* common issue with the Sense Ride 4 (3 was OK). If you are hard of hearing it might not be an issue - in which case the shoe is great."

I've had the speed cross and prior versions of this. Always comfortable, but this version of the sense isn't up to par.
The noise/clicking is noticeable, the store staff even said it, we tried a few pairs and all the same. The tongue is stiff, the materials feel a bit cheaper. They are going back."

You got the "click" unlocked version?
Having said all that I bought 2 11.5's and they just came today haven't taken either of them out for a legit ride yet but it doesn't seem like these are clicking yet at least.
Other than the clicking these sneakers are amazing!!! Not sure, though, had any of these with the clicking made it passed inspection.

I haven't taken them on a hike yet or gotten them more broken in than a few miles walking around the neighborhood but I can see them bring a great alternative to hiking boots when I travel.
I have 6 other pairs of salomons that I love and had hoped these would be the same. I guess I am sticking with the Ultra x series, not these.
