Bought a refurb from buydig end of December. TV arrived with cracked screen and getting them to return it has been a nightmare. The customer service has been awful and they just keep running me around in circles. I would never buy anything from this company again. I ended up buying a samsung with the Educators discount and now im trying to figure out if ill need to involve my credit card company to get the buydig thing sorted.

Every time this deal comes up people mention the 3rd party warranty holder is garbage to deal with and almost never covers anything.

Hm holding out for a deal on a non-refurb. Superbowl coming up and with the release of LG's new OLED tv, the G3, probable that the price of a new C2 will drop.

It's got a 4 year warranty, anything happens, use the warranty. Seems like a solid deal, if your in the market for that size.

That's what I was wondering. Seems like one of those too good to be true deals.
The original post actually said burn in was covered. I see it does not say that now just the accidental.
Edit: the other deal I seen for the exact same deal was posted by iconian and his said burn in was covered. So who knows.

Yeah the CPS ones are pretty garbage. I've not used one myself but only because of all the terrible reviews I've seen online. All the good ones say it was easy to purchase but never actually tried to use it. All the bad ones are people trying to use it.

The Square trade option coverage (not free) doesn't cover burnin

That's concerning. I ordered it since it's a good price on a great TV, but hopefully they'll stand by that if something happens. It still comes with 6 months (from LG I'm assuming) since it's factory refurb. Also 45 day free returns if anything is wrong right off the bat, which I've used before with Buydig with a previous LG OLED refurb deal.

Yeah buydig is legit. They're an authorized dealer. The CPS warranty is the issue.

This is the warranty added when you add the tv to the cart. If you click on it and read it, it states:

Accidental Damage coverage
Impact Damage
Dropping while moving or mounting the TV
From kids playing ball in the house
Burn in covered - usually not covered by the OEM
Remote Control replacement - hot swap, no question asked
Tech Support Included - initial product setup and/or configuration
Authorized service dispatched by Consumer Priority Service

Correct. But it's one of those "too good to be true" scenarios where apparently CPS doesn't answer the phone, doesn't return emails, doesn't follow through with warranty claims, etc. Or that's what many people have claimed.

If it covers accidental maybe it just gets accidentally damaged when you notice the burn-in...
