This is the warranty added when you add the tv to the cart. If you click on it and read it, it states:

Accidental Damage coverage
Impact Damage
Dropping while moving or mounting the TV
From kids playing ball in the house
Burn in covered - usually not covered by the OEM
Remote Control replacement - hot swap, no question asked
Tech Support Included - initial product setup and/or configuration
Authorized service dispatched by Consumer Priority Service
good luck with that claim buddy. Check reddit it....its a total joke.

There is a reason the extended warranty business has such huge profit margins. They literally will just not respond to you or make some random excuse to deny your claim. Friend waited 6 months for a part to come in that "kept getting delayed", bought another one new. To this day that part is still pending through this warranty company...

Random Question?
Dose this LG Oled let you adjust aspect ratios? I like to zoom in on some movies or shows that are nit in full screen
I learned the hardway with the Sony A90j 83" and 77" that the aspect ratio is locked on everything except tge OTA antenna.
Sony blew it on that feature.
And no you cant probably fill screen or zoom using Ps5 or Apple TV like decices.
the a90 series is literally part of their master line for movies, if you bought that tv surprised by its features being focused on showing movies as the director intended...thats on you buddy Applause

Does calling avoid sales tax?
nothing actually avoids sales tax, they may not collect in your state, but technically you are supposed to file for your own state.

chance of audit is like 0 so noone does it....but ya, if a merchant doesn't collect sales tax for your state and your state has a sales tax for that item, you really are suppose to file it yourself Cool

That's concerning. I ordered it since it's a good price on a great TV, but hopefully they'll stand by that if something happens. It still comes with 6 months (from LG I'm assuming) since it's factory refurb. Also 45 day free returns if anything is wrong right off the bat, which I've used before with Buydig with a previous LG OLED refurb deal.
the only warranty that doesnt actively deny claims is best buy and costco, hence why folks pay extra for that.

Costco is even reducing their warranty since its costing so much...that's how you know these other warranty companies with millions of promises...are scams.

Thanks for that. Reading the reviews makes the warranty laughable. I was planning to purchase the TV based on the 4 year warranty. After reading the reviews of CPS, will wait for a new one to drop in price.

You realize that half the people who read your comment don't know what you're saying, right?

It's got a 4 year warranty, anything happens, use the warranty. Seems like a solid deal, if your in the market for that size.
The warranty is absolute garbage.

Hm holding out for a deal on a non-refurb. Superbowl coming up and with the release of LG's new OLED tv, the G3, probable that the price of a new C2 will drop.
I strongly recommend the B2. About $500 cheaper and does everything the C2 does. C2 is only marginally brighter and has the faster processor, which probably doesn't make a difference in real world use. Very minor differences, yet a significant price difference, makes the B2 the slick deal at $1699 new.

Exactly how is each unit "refurbished"? Is this a fancy word for defective customer returns? Of course it is. How many hours are on each USED unit?

It is a return. It was defective one before and most likely still is.

Refurb with cps warranty, that warranty is useless with all the complaints I hear about it. This deal is more like 77 refurbished.
