BiA: Road to Hill 30 (the first one) started with paradropping into Normandy.

Back when they focused a lot on single player campaigns vs. multiplayer. Great game

This was a great game. You had to use tactics like ordering a platoon to flank and such, so it wasn't just another typical run-n-gun WWII shooter. I enjoy the WWII story and genre in general, and this scratched that itch nicely.

This was one of my favorite series. Controlling fire and suppression teams really makes you use strategy instead of just running across a field, guns blazing. The first was my favorite and the best overall IMO. Ironically, I've been considering picking it up again so maybe this will scratch the itch. Too bad it's not enhanced.
