I picked this up at Best Buy and it's a nice set. Exceeds expectations when compared to similarly priced Hisense tv from Costco. My Series S looks great on this with a few adjustments

55" is $268. Worth the $30 extra?

For value, $30 to gain 5 in more is worth it. For ratings you should refer to rtings.com

These prices are crazy. Makes it real hard to get any decent money when selling used on Marketplace

If it ain't LG OLED, then I don't want it.
This is 1/3 of the price, don't have such expectations for a TV in this price range. Still a great TV for the price nevertheless

All these comments about comparing size... Guys, it's not just about how big it is. It's how you use it that counts.

Good price but too small of a tv. 65 inches is my minimum size.
It's not the size that matters but how you use it. At least, that's what I've been told.

It's about how your mom wants to use the tv… whether she wants to use it in the bedroom… or if she's a little spicy and wants to use it in the bathroom

50" is too small these days for a primary living room TV. It's crazy to think that as a kid I considered my family's 30" Sony to have a big screen.

I purchased this TV from Best Buy when it first came out. I kept it for 3 months and then gave it away to my sister. I was coming from a 10 year old LG 65 inch 3D LCD TV.

It's not a bad TV by any means. You can definitely tell the quality is there, but I saw a huge difference in color accuracy vs my LG. Also, the TV doesn't get very bright in HDR mode. That was the biggest issue for me. I have a PS5 and I depend on brightness which just isn't there on this TV.

I ultimately ended up going with the Sony Bravia X90J and I've been happy ever since.

This TCL is a nice TV if your not looking for something that is top tier in most areas for a TV, but remember you do get what you pay for.
