I guess you haven't been down a toy isle in the last 2 years? It was 30 years ago when these were originally released for $5 each.

Yes as a matter of fact they do. Nickelodeon has had several animated shows that were quite popular and they just released a video game last year that also was quite popular amongst youngsters.

Also had a couple of michael bay movies that did pretty well.

FWIW my son is 5 and he and his classmates are all about TMNT, as well as Transformers/Rescue Bots and Legos/Ninjago. Just log into Netflix kids and you'll see all the TMNT iterations (except the OG cartoon).
