The link below and "see deal" button keep landing me on a color that isn't on sale. Make sure to select "deep peytro tunnel green" for the sale price.

Hello. You stated the "deep peytro green" is on sale, but three different colors are actually on sale for $39.50 each, and here are their direct links:

Deep Peyto Green Tunnel Vision [osprey.com]
Axo Green Enchantment Purple [osprey.com]
Nightingale Yellow Green Tunnel [osprey.com]
Take care,
Tofu Vic
I bought an Osprey bag from another thread
The actual colors and Osprey site colors are not the same
The bag pictured in OP ( deep peyto green/tunnel vision) is better judged on other sites.

Agreed. 13L is very small. I have been using an REI Flash 20L for over 10 years. It will hold a water bottle, a couple beers, and small stuff like chapstick and sunscreen easily, but if we take off a down jacket and stuff it inside we are very glad to have the space. Over a pound for a "lightweight" daysack is also on the heavy side, but its probably worth it if it is very comfortable. My Flash 20 was less than half that weight, and the drawstring top makes it easier to load a lot in it.

With a 13L, that should carry all that smaller stuff, but you aren't getting a jacket, beanie, and gloves in there too. I suppose it's a decent size if everyone has a bag, but my wife and I prefer just takings turns carrying a 20L around. Love Osprey though. I've traveled the world with an Aether 70L.

Wish it was larger capacity. 13L is too small for a full day backpacking

Absolutely. Daypacks start at 20L, IMO. This would fit a couple Nalgenes and a crushed up windbreaker… so tempting, nice to see a chest AND waist strap but that's a little overkill.

People use these as hydration packs so if riding a bike or doing something active the waist.strap can help.

However I'll add the strap runs a little smaller than other packs. I'm 6'2" with a 40w and I have to set waist straps to max and even then these are tight. But I don't really wear these packs

For those saying this isn't large enough for a day pack I cannot imagine what you're trying to carry.
I use a camelback mule crux, which is listed as 8 liters of non hydration storage, as my day hike bag and with it's 3 liter reservoir I still have an extra pair of socks and underwear, small towel for drying off, spare shorts (in case I want to swim) spare wallet, flashlight, as many snacks and food as I'd need for more than a day easy, boo boo kit(ifak is molle'd but boo boo kit is internal), full hygiene kit including sunscreen, radio, water purification tablets and plenty of spare room more random odd items I like having just for fun and it's not slam packed full...
This pack will be plenty for a day out on the trail.

Picked one up, have another already - they are not large by any means, but I love them when I go traveling and wandering about. Easily fits a light windbreaker, some snacks, and my iPad, chargers, battery banks, etc. I also grabbed this guy: https://www.osprey.com/us/en/prod...inder=true I got the acorn red one already and I love it for business travel - the inside pocket easily fits my laptop and my zenscreen portable monitor. For $44 I think it's a great deal.

Just checking in to say that this brand makes v high quality backpacks. If you're a guy that sometimes rides a bike w one, a broken strap could mean death so.
