The Ryobi USB Lithium Power Cutter is on sale for $59.97 if you choose the 3 battery option. $59.97 is the usual price for the Cutter and just 1 battery.

I bought this tool a few months ago, mostly for breaking down cardboard boxes and blister packaging. It works like a charm for blister packaging. Unfortunately it does a very poor job with cardboard from my experience; the cutting opening is just too narrow so gets jammed constantly. Can't comment on cutting something thinner like fabric or leather. If you are mostly looking to break down cardboard, I'd recommend something like the Milwaukee 3-in1 Cutting/Scraping blade for an oscillating tool. Cuts through cardboard like butter.

i'm a huge ryobi fan and have more tools than I need and have been watching for a deal on this thing forever....

but recently got the worx version for half the price, and love it.

I think this set with 3 extra tools & batteries is a better value.

Basically getting one less battery but two additional tools for free… I don’t need the hot glue gun, but maybe I can sell it for $20.

I just purchased this deal since it made more sense for me. Sure it's double the price, but if I only needed the cutter I'd spring for that ebay $25 deal instead.

Well harbor freight branded cutter is like $35+- and it has a sealed battery. This has interchangeable batteries (and 3 of them). Also you can use the batteries in other tools in this line.

I just placed an order for this about an hour ago. I see the other kit with more tools, but I don't want or need those. I really want this cutter, and those two extra batteries. This will give me the screw driver and cutter. I'll be on the lookout for other new USB Lithium tools.

Yeah, cheaper, but that is a "seller refurbished" discontinued item and only comes with the one battery.

yeah - it is not the same exact thing, but it does the same thing.

unless you work with boxes 8 hours a day, you probably aren't going to need all those batteries. if you can use the batteries for another tool, maybe it's worth it.

just giving some options and an honest review worship

Have you tried this for breaking down cardboard? Slices smoothly through cardboard. https://www.amazon.com/CANARY-Cor...150&sr=8-2
