I've been a Linux user and a Microsoft hater since the late 90s (early 2000's is when I truly committed to Linux). I was very hesitant to adopt Microsoft mice.

Logitech, in their attempt to force everyone to use their Unifying receiver neglected the Bluetooth market for a long time. I finally went Microsoft out of frustration.

I don't regret it.

Some of the absolute best Mice I have ever used were Microsoft Bluetrack mice. Sadly my favorite versions are no longer manufactured and the Arc Mouse turned out to be a turd (early version, I don't know if they've improved since then or not) but they are absolutely great. Nothing tracks better. Right now I am using a USB dongle version - outside the norm for me but it works great.

The only non Logitech, non Microsoft mouse I've found that was in the same league was a Bluetrack from Lenovo and I'm not 100% sure it isn't a relabel of one of those two.
