The P500 is only a toilet, no bidet feature. Bio Bidet site doesn't list it in the features. So this is basically just a fancy crapper.

You obviously do not install toilets. The floor bolts on models like these are hidden inside with access panels. They are not easy to line up and then get your socket/wrench in there.

I saw "toilet with remote" and immediately wanted it. Turns out after reading, you actually do still have to get up and walk over to it before using.

…how is this any better than the 1950s toilets?

True remote use wouldn't require leaving the TV during the Big Game! Fix this issue and you'll have a winner!

I was in Japan and stayed at a place that had a fancy toilet with a seat heater and bidet built in, both of which seem much more practical than an auto flush.

I've used several from a TOTO $600 bidet toilet seat to a $30 simple bidet toilet seat attachment and the simple one works just fine.

Besides that :
No HDMI - pass
