As someone who just bought a 1 gallon humidifier yesterday which about double this for my bedroom I can tell you that 1 gallon doesn't last long so this is going to be much worse.

Weekly, mix of vinegar and water, wipe with paper towel after soaking for a while, then rinse.

Totally agree. These are humidifiers for ants. I get lingering coughs every winter from the dry indoor air and have found that these tiny humidifiers can't do the job anywhere but the smallest spaces. Recently upgraded to the Vornado 4-gallon

As someone who just bought a 1 gallon humidifier yesterday which about double this for my bedroom I can tell you that 1 gallon doesn't last long so this is going to be much worse.

I bought a 1 gallon warm mist humidifier Honeywell from Best Buy for $35 and I am considering taking it back. It's been very cold so my humidity dropped to the low 20s, my bedroom is about 150 square feet and even with the humidifier running it pretty much hangs in the high 20s to about 30% occasionally getting up to maybe 34%.

Would something like this be good for a hotel stay? Generally small rooms, small sinks to fill them in, would only need them when sleeping, easy to travel with, or is the capacity still not adequate?

Bought this same model about a year ago. Would agree that barely makes it through a night without needing a refill even at slightly higher than medium setting.

Do not us vinegar, it will corrode the plastic.

Just wipe down with papertowel and use a brush with running water. Been there done that.

My one gallon in my 150 sq.ft bedroom doesn't last 24 hours so no way on earth this is going to last 24 hours.
