They are NOT refurbs

You can even search for MacBook Air and specifically check the "New products only" button, and they are right there in the results page

it's just a banner that links to a refurb section of the site and people are confusing it for a description of the product they are viewing.

The Certified Refurbished is a link that takes you to their refurbished products. I've bought refurbed products from them in the past and they were fine. But the Airs are not refurbs.
