Yep, most likely. That explains the delay with order status. Payment info and personal information is relayed through somewhere else...
TD is a B2B seller. They exited the consumer retail business ten years ago. No way Apple will drop ship these orders at these prices.

Just received a second confirmation email. Status still hasn't moved from pending but I'm taking that as a positive sign.

Edit: I spoke too soon. Status has moved to pending review.

Is there a way to cancel? They now have the M1 16GB 1TB for $829 which is what I originally wanted in the first place but it seems all support is Monday-Friday only.

(Yes, I know they'll likely get cancelled on its own but if we're making a wish then we might as well wish big)

I guess they will get canceled?

The only winners today are the ones who got the price match at Best Buy early on before they caught up to this thing. Congrats!

IF that's the case, I would expect a class action lawsuit soon after. And let's face it, Tiger Direct can't afford that. This could be the end for them.

EDIT: Although you really think someone is going to hack their site and lower some Apple products just to gain customer info? That seems like a stretch as well. It's probably a mistake somewhere. The fact that it's still up with the same pricing after several hours is odd. They have to know by now.

For what it's worth TD hasn't been active on any of their social media accounts since last year either. None of these prices are legit. I wouldn't be giving them any bank info.

FWIW I once got a new release kindle for half off SD when it was being sold through a liquidator in Texas. It came. But that was $80/$160. That's not a Mac. I still feel this is fantasy.
