The $5 Monthly Pro rewards cannot be applied to digital gift cards any more online.
It still works in store though when buying a physical gift card.

Edit: Just seeing reward is also not applying to digital switch games, could this mean it's a glitch or has it been this way before?

I can understand because I was basically paying them $15 for $60 worth of Xbox gift cards each year.
Now I'll be paying them $75 each year for $120 worth of gift cards.
Still worth it to me.
Well that's a shame because there was a convenient way (exploit, really) of getting a double $5 reward that I used to pay for ~50% off PS+ and a ton of games last year ($135 for $250 in PSN wallet cards). Now it seems that'll be $75 for $125 unless they buckle and add online PUR back.

Because if not, considering the website clearly states: "This coupon can be used in-store or online to get $5 off one eligible item." and "These coupons can be used on most physical and digital games."
...seems like Gamestop is just begging to be sued.
