Says "Offer not valid on third-party delivery services"
Some interesting facts.
I noticed Pizza Hut and Jet's pizza are coded as Merchant = Restaurants while Domino's is Fast Food.
In that case, if I want a pizza and the $5 rebate, I should order from Jet's or Pizza Hut but not Domino's
These are the others I have from my previous statements that are Merchant = Fast Food
Arby's
Chipotle
McDonald's
Wendy's
Firehouse Subs
Subway
Jimmy John's
Panda Express
Jersey Mike's
Shake Shack
McAlister Deli
Boston Market
Burger King
Panera Bread
Krispy Kreme
Popeyes
This offer was available under my debit card and Amazon prime card

Have you tried it yet? I'm curious if fast food counts as restaurant because in Chase website they explicitly mention that fast food counts as restaurant/dinning, and I always earn restaurant category bonus point on Subway purchases.
Had it on a bunch of cards. Wonder if it's one per credit card account, or one per Chase cardholder (i.e. one use total for all my accounts). Guess I'll find out .

Merchants in the restaurants category are merchants whose primary business is sit-down or eat-in dining, including fast food restaurants as well as fine dining establishments. Please note that some merchants that sell food and drinks located within larger merchants such as sports stadiums, hotels and casinos, theme parks, grocery and department stores will not be included in this category unless the merchant has set up such purchases to be classified in a restaurant category. In addition, gift card and delivery service merchants will not be included in this category unless the merchant has set up such purchases to be classified in the restaurant category.
While the term "restaurants" is pretty straightforward, in practice, this category is broader than it appears on the surface. Essentially, any establishment that serves (as opposed to sells) food or drinks counts. As long as a merchant classified itself in a restaurant category when applying to accept credit cards, the purchase will qualify.
For instance, bars (including ones that don't serve food) and coffee shops such as Starbucks typically code as dining purchases. Additionally, in most cases, you'll earn 3 points per dollar spent with restaurant delivery services, including DoorDash.
What does Chase typically count as dining purchases?
Bars.
Breweries.
Cafes.
Coffee shops.
Fast food restaurants.
Juiceries.
Restaurant delivery services (Caviar, DoorDash, Eat24, Grubhub and Seamless, but not Postmates).
Restaurants.
University dining halls.
Vending machines.
What does Chase typically not count as dining purchases?
Amazon Restaurants.
Bakeries.
Catering services.
Food and drinks establishments located within larger merchants.
Grocery stores.
Inflight food and drinks.
Meal kit subscriptions.

yeah I got this on all 5 of my credit cards lol. Not sure if I should start rotating my card this month and redeem one restaurant per card or if it's one time for all my cards. Maybe I should eat out less
Why does everyone thinks this is good deal? This will not work on fast foods like McDonalds. It clearly states in the fine print The merchant must be classified as a restaurant for purposes of this offer to qualify.
I looked up my statements, McDonalds, Dunkin, Subway, they have merchant type = Fast Food while the likes of Chili's, Friday's will have merchant type = Restaurants. Going to Friday's to have a $16 burger + tax + tip = >$20 to get the $5 rebate is not a slickdeal
Just checked my past few transactions including mcdonalds and they were all classified as "Food & drink". I know for sure one of them I went to is a full service sit-down restaurant.
I checked my past transactions, as well as looked through Chase Categories. Not only were all of my Grubhub/Uber Eats orders and fast food stops classified as "Food & Drink", but so were all of my sit-down restaurant charges as well. In fact, I did not even see a "Restaurant" category as I was clicking through the Categories on the drop-down menu.
Plan to test with an order tomorrow and will report back in a few days to see if Grubhub works.

FWIW with the former the majority of our spending is on restaurants...
