I noticed Pizza Hut and Jet's pizza are coded as Merchant = Restaurants while Domino's is Fast Food.
In that case, if I want a pizza and the $5 rebate, I should order from Jet's or Pizza Hut but not Domino's

In my experience with Chase Offers, paying with Apple Pay and/or PayPal has always worked. This observation has applied even when the terms of the offer say "Payment must be made directly with merchant".
Example with a previous 10% back on my Starbucks purchase on several of my credit cards:
1. With Card A I paid for my Starbucks purchase via PayPal checkout and got my 10%
2. With Card B I paid for my Starbucks purchase via Apple Pay checkout at got my 10% back.
And yes, it worked of course when I paid directly with my card in person at the register as well.
I always find it really curious what they mean by "payment must be made directly with merchant"
Plan to test with an order tomorrow and will report back in a few days to see if Grubhub works.
Every purchase I've made at a restaurant or fast food joint has shuffled into that category. So I'm going to conclude it's extremely broad and this is fret over nothing.
Will that work? Maybe I can get chipotle gift card!
