Says "Offer not valid on third-party delivery services"
Some interesting facts.
I noticed Pizza Hut and Jet's pizza are coded as Merchant = Restaurants while Domino's is Fast Food.
In that case, if I want a pizza and the $5 rebate, I should order from Jet's or Pizza Hut but not Domino's
These are the others I have from my previous statements that are Merchant = Fast Food
Arby's
Chipotle
McDonald's
Wendy's
Firehouse Subs
Subway
Jimmy John's
Panda Express
Jersey Mike's
Shake Shack
McAlister Deli
Boston Market
Burger King
Panera Bread
Krispy Kreme
Popeyes
This offer was available under my debit card and Amazon prime card

Good post. I was wondering what constitutes a restaurant vs fast food. Thanks
It mentioned twice payment must be directly with the merchant. That is clear enough to deter me from using Doordash, GrubHub or Uber Eats to place the order
Offer expires 2/28/2023. Offer valid one time only. Payment must be made directly with the merchant. Offer not valid on third-party delivery services. Payment must be made on or before offer expiration date. Must make payment directly with the merchant. $5 cash back will be processed within 14 business days of your purchase. The merchant must be classified as a restaurant for purposes of this offer to qualify. Purchases may not qualify if they are charged by a merchant other than the restaurant. Some merchants that sell food do not qualify, such as candy stores, nut stores, confectionery stores, dairy product stores, bakeries, delis, beer/wine/liquor stores, and butchers. Food delivery merchants will qualify if they classify as a restaurant. Chase cannot guarantee the delivery of alerts for this offer.
That just means no PayPal. It also says "Food delivery merchants will qualify if they classify as a restaurant" which should cover GrubHub, Doordash, and Uber Eats.

This is confusing as hell. I checked my previous Doordash order, It is indeed coded as merchant type = Restaurant. Now, Im not sure if its because of the place I ordered the food from is a restaurant is why its coded as such.
So if we order from McDonalds via Doordash, it will be coded as merchant type = Restaurant as the transaction is coming from Doordash instead of McDonalds which is fast food

Offer doesn't explicitly exclude fast food. Previously when Chase Freedom had 5% back on restaurants, fast food was included.
That's because for 5% category it uses category code which is 'food and drink's for both but this one it specifically mentions merchant code which is divided into 'fast food' and 'restaurants'
