Black Friday (BF) price. AAFES was sold out by high noon on BF. My brother missed the AAFES deal on BF and picked up this model from the COSTCO deal with the extended warranty for about $300 more including tax.

LG's OLED TV's are regarded as some of the best tv's on the market in terms of OLED tech. Their LED tv's however are not good at all relative to Sony, Samsung and other brands. If you're looking at an LG tv make sure it's an OLED, which this is and the C2 has been highly reviewed and rewarded by many tv outlets.

I just went through pricing for this all day yesterday. No tax is the benefit from buying at the exchange, but only 2 year warranty if I use my AMEX. If I add their 4 year warranty it takes it to $2568.99. Not sure how easy it is to return to the exchange, but for just $2682.38 you can pick it up from Costco with a 5 year warranty. That's $113 more, is the ease of returning to Costco and that extra year of warranty worth the $113? Anyone buy large items like this from the exchange and have any return issues?

Solid deal. I got my CX almost 3 years ago from AAFES and it's still going strong. Nice to see it at this price now. The CX was $3700 when I get it in 2020. At the time I used a new MilitaryStar card to get 10% off.

If you're considering a new TV in the 77" range, then this is the one you want. The LG OLED series is widely considered to be the best. Assuming you qualify to shop there.

I have the 55" version and it has an amazing picture. Thanks for posting these Military deals. I try to do most of my online shopping through AAFES and NEX since the proceeds goes towards MWR. Peace

I was thinking about doing this exact thing, but the star card doesn't give you that extra year of warranty like the AMEX does which sucks. I guess though if you get the star card that 10% off would pay for the 4 year warranty add on.

Yeah. I had that same concern as well. AAFES has an extended warranty but it isn't as well priced as Costcos or other vendors. Tough choice. I took the gamble and opted for the cheaper price at the exchange without an extended warranty.
