These look nice, almost Arcteryx like. How do they fit? TTS? Also are they goretex/waterproof?

My local Macy's is clearing out winter coats at 65% off and random North Face jackets are in the racks. Meanwhile, all the Columbia jackets are separate and are only up to 40% off. Both are great brands but it seems odd that North Face is on a deeper discount.
