Diminishing returns. The speed difference between NVMe and SATA SSDs is a lot less noticeable than between SSDs and HDDs.

So it looks like for gaming on the PC, these are only like 1-2 seconds slower on loading times than M.2 at like 5000 MB/s, despite being 1/10 as fast?

FYI, I tried to use my Chase Amazon reward points while purchasing this item, and was denied *after* i had already processed this through the cart an hour or two later. It now tells me "Amazon reward points are not allow for this item". Like, why? And why such a rule suddenly applied retroactively? Strangeness on this one.

When loading the biggest difference is actually seeking time where hard drives need time to go fetch that particular sector whereas an SSD is solid state so there is no moving parts or seek time.
