Yeah I loved the book, read it after seeing the movie and then got hooked onto Gaimans other stuff (like American Gods). I can see why it is a bit hit and miss with people, it takes some amount of willingness to get immersed in the fictional world to really enjoy it.

It's well worth a watch, though I like it decidedly less upon subsequent viewings. I just think the protagonist is too stupid and crappy, and his arc feels undeserved. But really everything else about the movie is great, and it's fun ride for sure.

I'm only seeing Stardust as HD - not 4KUHD - on AppleTV on either my Mac or TV application. iTunes.apple.com indicates that it is purchasable in 4KUHD.

Has anyone bought this on their AppleTV and confirmed that it is in 4K?
