They placed a large ad on the remote app for the sound bars and TVs that's always there recently, while simultaneously breaking connectivity for customers using eero secure. The best part of that was that the ads still worked, even though the tv and app said no connection, and even though the tv was still connected to WiFi just fine.
I like the features for price if purchased at a good discount, but I don't trust vizio very much now. This probably would be less of an issue for someone not connecting to the internet from the start.

I had the M512, but after dealing with the Atmos dropouts & getting no fix, I returned it for the Q990B. The Vizio Soundbars are great for the price.... when they work.
Fwiw, Vizio is selling like new m512a refurbs directly from its ebay page for $330 with a warranty included. Not a bad deal either
