These aren't the best but I've had a pair for nearly two years and they are still holding together. Big fan of working out without getting blisters and callouses. Bought two more pairs. Thanks for finding this deal.

I also have been wearing gloves day one since I started weight lifting. It's preference but I rather protect my hands and keep my lady happy 😜 in for the max as well thanks OP 💪🏻

Dude was a douche.. never watched more than 10s of him talk. But look around at the gym. You will see some soft looking 40yr old wear gloves when lifting for about 3 weeks...then just disappear. Lifting gloves are overrated crap. Cant chalk...they slip when sweaty...
Lifting weights at a gym is overrated. I prefer wrestling bears with my bare/bear hands. Over time, weights just become a crutch and you become soft because they can't harm you back. I guess I'm just old school.

Props for representing the real iron workers everywhere, even if it means you get buried in a Slickdeals thread lol. Repped.

Haha thanks. Actually it's made me proud to see all the weird guys at the gym in biker gloves chime in. They'll learn. Forget their crutch and they won't even lift.

I've been wearing workout gloves at the gym for 20 years because I used to get callouses on my hands. The quality of these gloves is probably not the best, but the price can't be beat!

I've never seen anyone serious life with gloves. At some point they realize it's a crutch for weak grip. The solution is to work on grip strength rather than supplement it with gear. If grip truly becomes a limiting factor, you can use chalk and straps, but you shouldn't need grip support for most of your working sets.
I agree with this for the most part, but I'm a powerlifter with a home gym (500+ squat, 300+ bench, 550+ deadlift) and have an aggressively knurled bar. My hands get scraped to shit, so lately, I've been using gloves to protect the palms of my hands during training. Calluses are less of an issue for me because I just pumice them down and use straps in training. Both though, aren't pleasant for when trying to rub someone else on their back, holding hands, or caressing in other ways.

During competition period, I plan to stop using them, as they make me weaker and throw off my form a tiny bit, but they have a purpose for me to not have farked up hands most of the year.

I learned a long time ago that anyone who refers to people as "alphas" and "betas" is normally someone with some rather severe insecurity about themselves
