$34.81 for me w/tax & 15% subscribe and save - or $5.81 a container.

These containers (22.6 oz) are a bit smaller than what I'm used to (30oz containers).

I'll give this flavor a try - as the reviews seem to be pretty good...even for a run-of-the mill brand such as Foldgers!

Nailed it. This is the best (IMO) that Folgers had to offer.

tried the k-cup variant. Literal piss water.
How would you know what "literal piss water" tastes like?

I'd question the ability of one to judge the quality of coffee if they're drinking literal piss water.

Doesn't say it in the header, but pics of the text on the can seems to imply you can use less per cup "Less Weight Thanks to Expert Roasting that makes the most out of every bean - same # of cups". No idea what that means. Never heard of such. New thing? Or maybe I'm just out of the coffee loop these days.

That almost makes me want to Google that to see what the answer is...but then that question would forever be on my Google search history.... Frown

This from a person who turns to a keurig for their coffee.

Doesn't change the fact that the pods are actual garbage. They're even weighed less than a typical medium roast at .28oz per cup..

Just marketing nonsense attempting to convince people to pay the same or more $ for less qty.

Normally over extracted coffee (not using enough grounds) is bitter. Maybe this particular roast is less bitter than others when less grounds are used. Just a guess. I go in the other direction and prefer somewhat under extracted coffee (more grounds used than normal) and then cut it with hot water from my water cooler. One big advantage is that on a Monday morning when I'm really dragging I can cut with less water for a stronger cup. Some argue that under extracted coffee is not balanced but I think there's more variables in play- grind size, brew method, roast level, etc.
