Since last week we haven't been able to take payments in-store without the new physical card in hand. You also cannot pay greater than your current balance including pending charges.

Also another observation if you attempt to max out your card it won't authorize up to the available credit like the old card did.

This weekend is one of those Kohl's Cash giveaway promos. While supplies last upon entering the primary entrance of the store (usually the one closest to service desk/registers) you can get a card that reveals a promo kohls cash of $5, 10, 15, or 25. Valid only on day handed out. There is distribution Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

I got mine 3 or more weeks ago. I think it's safe to assume that yours got lost or stolen at this point :/

I picked one up this morning…. Of course it was only $5.

I had to laugh as I was standing in line to check out, I glanced over at the lady who was handing out the kohls cash coupons. When no one was coming in,…She was opening each one to see what they were. I suspected that when I opened mine up…. They made them too easy to open and reseal. Ha…. Pretty sure no one in our store got anything bigger than a $5…. Of course she may have simply been looking to see what was on them, and ….not saving them for certain individuals.

FAQs do say through early March, which would be about now. Just like the fall rollout of the second batch of KRVs and the initial batch of KCC, I feel like a lot of people may have inadvertently tossed the card not realizing what it was. I still have people from the fall rollout who still have no idea they got converted.

I went to the store today around lunchtime, and as soon as I walked in the main entrance, there was a big poster that said get your KC here. Yet, there were no employees around handing out the vouchers. I saw another customer looking for it too. I asked a cashier, and he had a stack of them at his register. I got a $10 one.

I called and got the automated computer. Was able to pay off my bill. Won't be charging anything until I get the new card and can view my account on-line.

Do you already have any products with Capital One and already do online account management? When I logged into my Capital One app it popped up asking if I wanted to add my KCC.

Otherwise per the FAQs:
" If you don't receive a new card by early March and were expecting one, please call 844‑874‑8768."

Said to come back early tomorrow morning.

The amount of promo cards received by each store varied for each day based on average traffic. It's possible with the email, social media and tv ads that drove more people in. I saw four ads for watching a NBA game last night.

I just got a mailer . March 14-23, 2025 there is a percentage off coupon to be used with a Kohl's charge.
