I continue to be disappointed that the excellent All-Clad 3 quart steamer insert hasn't appeared in these sales in a little while. It's pricey at nearly $80 so finding one on this sale for half price (as it's been in the past) would be nice. In the meantime, if you also want a 3 quart pan (without the long saucepan handle), this SD5 steamer set [homeandcooksales.com] is a decent deal at $144.

I picked up a 12-Qt brushed D5 with packaging damaged a few months ago and a corner of the box was torn but didn't even look like it had been opened before.The pot was absolutely perfect.
