Just my personal review but Pixel 7 finger print scanner is still terrible. I'd say it has about 60% accuracy and that's after registering just my thumbs multiple times.
Once again, lots of confusion about the superfan codes.
If you get a code from a Superfan, it DOES NOT give you $100 off your order, but does "stack" with sale prices. When you enter the code, it should say "Know someone who would love a Pixel too? Send them the code below and when they buy a Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, or Pixel 7 Pro, you'll both get $100 to spend on the Google" and show a $0 discount on your current order.
If you're signed in, get that message, and buy a new pixel, you should receive a $100 discount for another order at the google store 3-4 weeks after your new phone ships.
Unfortunately, these $100 credits do not stack with ANY other discount or offer. If you're trying to redeem a previously received credit, you will be paying full price, so there's really no reason to try to use those credits during a sale like this since the discount is already better than the $100 code. You're better off using the $100 codes on something that is normally around $100 like the Pixel Buds A Series, which would just be free.
My pixel 6 still has EIP of about $200 left at TMobile...if I pay that off, will T-Mobile continue to give me the credits to my account versus the phone? I would want to trade in my 6 for the 7.
I did this with pixel 6 and was able to continue receiving credits.
He doesn't give great financial advise for intelligent people but think who is audience is. The types of people who buy time shares, spend a 1/3 of their income on scratch offs every week, have $200k in student loans for a gender studies degree, etc.
How does Google handle trade ins that end up being more than the cost of the phone? Is the full TIV refunded to the credit card used for payment or are you given a refund only for the cost of the phone and then the rest in credit for the Google store? Thanks.
P.S. Would like feedback from actual experiences as I've read what the terms say, but want to know what happens in practice. Thanks again.
The 3a XL
I "upgraded" to the 7 pro
It was $300 for unlocked with trade in of the iphone XR with a borked battery
,I trade my neighbor for it, gave her a locked nord n200 I got on the T-Mobile free with any trade including flip phones deal, no new line required just 24 mo bill credit, so I paid like $17 for tax and shipping.
I still feel like it is not worth it, $300 plus the nord N200.
The phone gets hot a lot and the battery life sucks worse than a y phone On have owned since my defective Nexus 6p.
The phone also has a lot of bugs
And the new version of Android breaks compatibly with older apps
Lots of problems with the front camera.
Bluetooth issues.
Horrendous battery drain for seemingly no reason.
And weird things happen like battery % saying it increased by like 25% when I never charged it.
I don't like the Android 13 home and app switcher navigation gestures at all
Coming from 11 it is a downgrade.
I can't use a few smart home apps I depend on now because 13 won't let me install the, not from play store ,not by side loading and not with ADB.
My dad got a locked TMO 7 and the battery on that phone is even worse , but the pro is only slightly better but his battery drains at a rate of over 1% per minute and he is a boomer with no apps installed.
These phones have absolutely trash battery life.
Get hot when they shouldn't but don't get hot when they should, I tried to see what would happen if I installed dolphin, I played wind waker for about 15 min and the phone was not hot at all but the battery drained about 23%
In that time.
Other times I am just browsing reading a website and it gets hot 🔥
I have a 7pro with none of those issues. I would suggest that you try a factory reset and make sure you have all of the updates.

Pixel 2/XL - 5 gets unlimited compressed/high quality storage.
As long as you upload photos from the device it will not take up space.
Battery is shot on my Pixel XL, but I'll never trade it out!
Edit: 5a removed, it actually doesn't have unlimited storage.
