Just my personal review but Pixel 7 finger print scanner is still terrible. I'd say it has about 60% accuracy and that's after registering just my thumbs multiple times.

Once again, lots of confusion about the superfan codes.

If you get a code from a Superfan, it DOES NOT give you $100 off your order, but does "stack" with sale prices. When you enter the code, it should say "Know someone who would love a Pixel too? Send them the code below and when they buy a Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, or Pixel 7 Pro, you'll both get $100 to spend on the Google" and show a $0 discount on your current order.
If you're signed in, get that message, and buy a new pixel, you should receive a $100 discount for another order at the google store 3-4 weeks after your new phone ships.

Unfortunately, these $100 credits do not stack with ANY other discount or offer. If you're trying to redeem a previously received credit, you will be paying full price, so there's really no reason to try to use those credits during a sale like this since the discount is already better than the $100 code. You're better off using the $100 codes on something that is normally around $100 like the Pixel Buds A Series, which would just be free.

I wanted to say never, but that's not exactly true. When I first program my finger print, it'll ready it after a few tries for about an hour or so. It seems like after that, it never recognizes my finger print. As in 0% of the time.

I've tried all of the suggestions online, tried setting the same finger as multiple fingers, etc. Nothing works with it. It just really doesn't work at all. I've read the same complaint over and over online about how terrible the finger print reader is. So it makes me think it's how the phone is rather than a defective phone.

Anyone care to share their thoughts on me trading in a Tmobile S9 (64gb) for $193 towards a Pixel 6a? I'd be using it strictly as a secondary phone, mostly to experiment with GrapheneOS...$125 seems like a reasonable price for the 6a...no?

That's effectively the deal I got. Took a while to get use to the screen fingerprint reader of the 6a vs the 3a XL backside one, but after a while I did. Not sure if 6a software upgrades improved or my finger touch did. Whatever the case I don't think about it now. The 6a is just a better more powerful phone all-around: faster, better camera, better screen area %, etc.

Good deal. No regrets. I'd do it again.

Started my trade in 2 days ago. Have not received the kit yet. Google support says they cannot price match the current trade in value. I guest I will be missing 80 bucks. Anyone has experience something similar?

The Pixel 7 Pro build quality is terrible. Feels plasticky and cheap in your hand. Raised curved screen edges don't play well with a bumper case as it registers as screen touches. Also, the front screen and back hard plastic are prone to shattering when dropped from relatively short heights. The raised metal band on the back doesn't let it sit properly on a wireless charging pad. The battery doesn't last 1/2 a day with moderate use. You will also play heck getting your trade in credit from Google Store. I had to end up disputing the charge to get mine. Otherwise, the software and phone featured were great.

Got 280 for pixel 4xl and had $150 dollar off from Google to upgrade. 450-280= $170. Not bad to upgrade after 3 years.

P. S. Had got free new battery on 4XL but poor ram , 64 gb memory and no 5g was getting to me.
