Just my personal review but Pixel 7 finger print scanner is still terrible. I'd say it has about 60% accuracy and that's after registering just my thumbs multiple times.
Once again, lots of confusion about the superfan codes.
If you get a code from a Superfan, it DOES NOT give you $100 off your order, but does "stack" with sale prices. When you enter the code, it should say "Know someone who would love a Pixel too? Send them the code below and when they buy a Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, or Pixel 7 Pro, you'll both get $100 to spend on the Google" and show a $0 discount on your current order.
If you're signed in, get that message, and buy a new pixel, you should receive a $100 discount for another order at the google store 3-4 weeks after your new phone ships.
Unfortunately, these $100 credits do not stack with ANY other discount or offer. If you're trying to redeem a previously received credit, you will be paying full price, so there's really no reason to try to use those credits during a sale like this since the discount is already better than the $100 code. You're better off using the $100 codes on something that is normally around $100 like the Pixel Buds A Series, which would just be free.
For those who did the trade-in and had to return the old phone, have you had any issues with USPS delivering the box with the phone inside to the provided prepaid address?
I shipped my return package on February 14th to my local postal office and till today the latest update was on February 25th saying that it's still in transit and arriving late. I called you USPS and they did not have much information and had to create a case number for me.
Just wanted to see if anyone else had any issues. My package was coming from the San Francisco Bay area to Tennessee.
I'm worried that the package is lost and then it's going to create a headache for me to reach out to Google. of course I have proof with the tracking number but I don't know how Google will respond to this. it's not Google's fault. it is USPS so hopefully USPS will refund me the estimated value of my phone which is $380 for my Google Pixel 6.
Trade-in price for Pixel 3XL 64GB is back up to $165; much better than the $34 they offered last week. $465 after all said and done. Check your phone for current trade-in.
I think I may still buy pre-owned from Swa.ppa. Hope that helps someone.
For those who were not able to get a price match from google, check the benefits that you have on the credit card you used to pay for the phone. I happened to use a Mastercard that comes with a Price Protection benefit, I was able to file a claim and got approved.
