New model does have front brakes. Old model doesn't.

I had the Costco version of this bike with no front brakes.
The front brakes is definitely a missing feature that was needed. This solves the problem of going downhill with not enough stopping power. That was my reason for return. May consider buying this one now.

Edited: Just read that this one doesn't have the front brakes either. Looking at the pictures it does seems like it is missing the front brakes.

Does anyone know if the Target one for sale is the new ones with the front brakes? On the image website, its not showing but they may be using stock images.

Above states it has hydraulic brakes and it does not! You can see the steel cable at the disc brake caliper .Also, I do not see a second brake. A little research and was able to confirm they are not Hydraulic.

This is an unsafe ebike with a single rear mechanical disk brake.
Neither Costco or Targets disclaimers will stop injured/dead claimants from
sueing those deep pockets.

You don't need hydraulic for this. It's not a fast bike.
