This is still totally worth trying 1240p processor +16gb ram + fingerprint + backlight. There were several complaints from ppl about varying issues. The only issue I had was that I couldn't verify that windows 11 noticed my thunderbolt ports/devices when using the intel thunderbolt command center, so I downgraded to windows 10 and the app works properly. All of my devices did work in windows 11, but it was weird they didnt show up in the intel app - I had a dell with windows 11 and USB4/thunderbolt 4 ports and all the devices showed up.
Anyways great device and great price - I would definitely go for it again, even with the slightly increased price. If you get a dud you would immediately notice it and can always return it too.

I currently using a 14" Acer Aspire 5 with Core i5-1135G7. The fan is a bit loud some time and the battery drains even it's power off. I am looking for one with a touchscreen feature, and possibly more powerful and energy-saving CPU.

I missed it. Good catch....
Sometimes EBay itself does 15% off before holidays. So check if anything appears during President's day.
But some merchants do jack up prices before that deal and hence the deal might not be worth it.
The unit I received has a faulty webcam that works often enough so I couldn't claim warranty. But can't do any zoom calls since the camera could randomly fail in the middle. A system reboot usually fixes the issue so it might even be a driver issue but the latest driver I could find was from June 2022.
