Do you use oil with Kernels ?
I don't. I either use spray butter or something like that sparingly after it's popped.

This thing looks terrible to clean. I use a Stir Crazy popper for $40 at Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/82505-Elec...B00KL8SM92 [amazon.com]

3 Tbsp coconut oil, 3/4c kernels, 1tsp Flavacol (heaping), and a few pumps of Snappy Butter Burst one popped. Tastes JUST like a movie theatre. And cleanup is simple.
I have wanted one of these things forever! You prompted me to try one out. I saw that UntilGone.com has it for $24.99 after coupon [untilgone.com], so I figured I'd buy it at that price. I have never bought from them, but TrustPilot has a 4.1 out of 5 review rating on them.

Stove top popcorn is super simple, but this does have a certain allure to it since I absolutely love popcorn.

Best "recipe" is 2 tbsp coconut oil, 1 tsp flavacol, and 1/2 cup kernels. Makes a big bowl of popcorn. Also occasionally melt a couple tbsp of butter and combine, but not super necessary (especially with how much butter cost).

Got this delivered yesterday. put on the bar outside my theater room. looks nice. made the popcorn very well. I put more in it than they said and it still popped just fine. the kettle is easily removable if you want to give it a through cleaning. I dont really see that as necessary very often.

We have this and our family loves it. We've made popcorn every way you can imagine and this does a good job and our kids enjoy it. The best popcorn to use is Snappy. https://www.snappypopcorn.com We've tried every brand and had some at a state park that was amazing. Turns out they use Snappy which is used at most concessions. The stuff is amazing!

Some reviewers mentioned plastic melting with hot popcorn… anyone here experienced that?
